Glenfiddich Solera 15 Years

The Glenfiddich Solera system is unique amongst Scotch whisky distillers. Fifteen-year-old Glenfiddich from three types of casks (traditional American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and new oak) is married in a large Solera vat, made of Oregon pine. Then this beautifully balanced single malt is left to settle in a small Solera tun before bottling. The result? A full and fruity nose, with delicate honey and vanilla notes. The taste is elegantly smooth, with a deep flavour that reveals fruit, gentle spice and a touch of oak.

Glenfiddich 18 Years

Our master craftsmen have created a complex, mellow single malt Scotch whisky from years of patient maturation in casks of the finest Oloroso sherry and American bourbon. It is secreted away in our traditional warehouse, where the cool, thick stone walls and low ceilings mature the whisky to perfection. Years later what emerges is a Glenfiddich Ancient Reserve with an elegant nose, faintly sweet, scented with apple and wood. It is robust and full-bodied, yet remarkably soft, rounded and long lasting.

Glenmorangie The Original 10Yrs

A more vital experience than the 10 years of age. This remains floral but has more zest and nuttiness, mellow with a distinctive damp oakiness. Glenmorangie Nectar D'or

Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or single malt Scottish whisky is an unusual Scotch but none the worse for that. Like most Glenmorangie whisky it is initially matured in American bourbon whiskey casks but unusually it is then finished in Sauternes casks from France. This gives Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or a unique taste; one that whisky experts rate very highly.

Glenmorangie 18 Years

This rare expression of Glenmorangie is an attractive deep gold colour. It is distinctive from the Ten Years Old - although the floral bouquet and citrus notes are still present - and avoids the heavy 'darkness' of other aged malts.

Glenrothes 1994 Vintage

Nose: Spice, spirit and citrus. Fruitiness too, with a combination of pale sultanas and sharp woodland berries. Palate: Citrus, toffee, oak vanilla and malty. Finish: Spicy, vanilla, honey, and medium long. Overall, it is a stimulating dram with lots of depth – distinctively punchy on the palate and distinctly different.

Glenrothes Select Reserve

A bottling with casks from different years, inspired by the famous non-vitange offerings from champagne. Keir found the following: "Werther’s originals. Soot. Rum and raisin. Some solventy notes contributing to good complexity. Soft. Creamy, lots of vanilla. Very pleasant!’ Natural colour.

Highland Park 12 Years

Made from the best barley malted over peat fires; merged with the unique spring waters of the island; and aged in casks for a minimum of twelve years that shape its rare and very distinctive character. This whisky has the characteristic honey sweetness followed by fruit maybe pineapple, apple or pear. On the palate it is drying and leaves a gentle smokey feeling and a flavour that just keeps on going

Highland Park 18 Years

One of only two distilleries on the Orkney Islands ( the other being Scapa).Founded by the "whisky priest" Magnus Eunsson in 1798, (preacher by day, moonshiner by night - similar to Elijah Craig). Highland Park has a number of of unique points, first the peat used there is almost all heather and so contributes a good deal to the flavor and bouquet, further this peat is still curt by hand, and arduous process , usually not seen anymore. Another labor intensive process they still use is turning the malted barley by hand during the peating/smoking process

Price: $125.00

Highland Park 25 Years Malt

First released in 1998, Highland Park 25 Years Old is a phenomenal whisky; it has a rich amber glow and an unmistakable taste of smokiness and heather honey with, as you would expect from Highland Park, a hint of peat.
The remarkable complexity of this whisky is due in part to the fact that half of it is matured in first fill Sherry casks. These are very expensive and generally used sparingly in the industry. However, they impart maximum flavour; Highland Park 25 Year Old proves it

Price: $580.00

Highland Park 30 Years Malt

Highland Park 30 Year Old merits time and attention. It has spent 30 years maturing. Youll discover the characteristic fudge sweetness together with complex aromatic spices and dark chocolate orange. It has a drying finish, leaving a gentle smoky flavour and a mildly salty aftertaste the result of 30 years ageing in the Orkney sea spray

Price: $1050.00

Macallan 12 Years Sherry Oak

The Macallan Sherry Oak is exclusively matured in selected Sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain.  This complex Single Malt is matured for a minimum of 12 years and is characterized by its rich color, aroma and flavor.  There are hints of dried fruits, spice and chocolate orange according to the official tasting notes, but what I pick up in particular is light hints of sweetness mixed with honeyed notes of vanilla.  There is enough warming on the palate to invite one back for more, yet the wood and smoke is not overwhelming.  The Macallan has truly mastered the Single Malt Scotch

Price: $120.00

Macallan 15Yrs Fine Oak

Macallan 18 Years Sherry Oak

The oak casks which age The Macallan Sherry Oak Whiskies have been selected from refill Sherry casks originating in Jerez Spain where they previously held aged sherry for two years. Using two-year old Sherry casks is an expensive proposition; however, the makers of The Macallan Whiskies believe that the resulting combination of rich Sherry seasoning, and relatively young oak casks will result in a superior whisky. Indeed in my review I note the strong oak influence which sits astride the Sherry enhancement

Price: $299.00
